Job Responsibilities
The Estate Butler will serve as the cornerstone of refined service and seamless household management within a distinguished North Naples residence. With an unwavering eye for detail, the Butler ensures the estate is flawlessly maintained, elegantly presented, and always guest-ready. Core responsibilities include overseeing staff and vendors, managing inventories of fine wines, spirits, and household goods, and orchestrating both intimate gatherings and formal entertaining with discretion and grace. In addition, the Butler curates the wine cellar, manages acquisitions, oversees proper storage, and provides wine pairing and service to complement fine dining experiences. The role extends to providing white-glove personal service to principals and guests—offering valet and wardrobe care, travel and packing assistance, and concierge-level arrangements for dining, leisure, and transportation. Equally adept in administration, the Butler maintains household schedules, budgets, and records with quiet efficiency, anticipating needs before they arise. Above all, the position embodies professionalism, loyalty, and discretion, cultivating an atmosphere of comfort, elegance, and understated excellence for both the principals and their guests.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in luxury hospitality, private service, or estate management, with formal training as a Butler or in five-star hotel or private household environments. Strong knowledge of fine wines, cellar management, and food and wine pairings is essential, with sommelier certification considered highly desirable. The Butler must demonstrate exceptional organizational and administrative skills, the ability to manage staff and vendors with authority yet discretion, and a refined approach to service that anticipates needs before they arise. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and occasional travel is required, along with the utmost discretion, loyalty, and professionalism in serving high-net-worth principals and their guests. A polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and a calm, unflappable demeanor under pressure complete the profile.
